As we checked in, the front desk clerk said &#8220;oh, you have a lovely room, right on the beach&#8221;.\u00a0Imagine our expectations?<\/p>\n<p>The 6th floor room, at the opposite end of a long building perpendicular to the beach was not &#8220;on the beach&#8221;.\u00a0As for a seaview, well, if you stood at the non-opening window at just the right angle, you could catch a glimpse of the sea.<\/p>\n<p>I\u00a0will not be rushing back to the Ritz Carlton to pay\u00a0the exhorbitant fees for a 6th floor standard room overlooking the parking lot and street!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Recently, I attended a destination wedding in Puerto Rico.\u00a0 As we were going to be there for only 2 nights, we opted to upgrade the accommodation to a seaview room.
